OJSC KAMAZ has published financial statements for the fourth quarter of 2014.
At the end of 2014, the total volume of the Russian market of trucks with GVW of 14-40 tonnes amounted to 69.9 thousand units, which is 17.0% less than in 2013. Last year, OJSC KAMAZ sold 32,584 trucks and assembly sets (hereinafter CKD), which is by 15% less than in 2013 year. In 2014, sales in the heavy truck market depended to a large extent on a decrease in fixed capital investment, a slowdown in construction, a low business activity, a decreased demand for investment goods.
The share of OJSC KAMAZ on the Russian market of trucks with GVW of 14-40 tonnes made 45.9% (it was 44.7% for the same period in 2013).
According to the results of the last three months of the year 2,327 vehicles and CKD were exported, and 6,087 units in all were exported for the whole year 2014. Kazakhstan and the countries of Africa became the main export markets. In general, exports of vehicles and CKD increased by 91.2% in the fourth quarter of 2014 compared to the same period last year.
The average number of employees in the fourth quarter of 2014 was 36,536 people (excluding subsidiaries), the wage fund formed almost 13 billion rubles, social benefits exceeded 95 million rubles.
